      Good Morning All,
1 Timothy 2:1; “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people”
This is a story that a fellow pastor related to me on Facebook a while back.  I simply pasted it in the devotion so you could read it in his hand.
Just wanted to share a miracle with you guys.

a 4th grade teacher in our school got the flu last week and the virus got into her spine, which paralyzed her arms and legs. It also affected her vision, causing her eyes to wander independent of each other. it was labeled as similar to guillain barre syndrome. She was told that they would have to wait it out in the hospital and that there would be a 6 month or so recovery with a 50 percent chance of permanent damage. many people began to pray and over 48 hours on Sunday-Monday she was miraculously healed and discharged from the hospital. the doctors have no medical explanation for it, and have never seen anything like it. she will be back in her classroom next week. the hand of God moves throughout His creation...

Never underestimate the incredible power of prayer.  Never be afraid to pray.  God has blessed us with the gift of prayer and make no mistake; it is one of the greatest gifts that God gives to his people.  We can approach God’s holy throne and ask of him, beg of him, plead for ourselves and others with all the boldness and confidence that we can ever imagine.  God has promised to hear, to listen, and to answer.

I can’t guarantee every prayer will be answered this quickly and in such an amazing fashion but God answers the faithful prayers of his people.  Be bold and be confident and pray.  Take time to earnestly and honestly pray to God.  Our prayers do not have to be fancy, or verbose or even “churchy”; they need to come from the believer’s heart.  They need to be part of a conversation with God, spoken by a believing soul.
Prayer is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal; use it and use it often.  The Creator-Redeemer God who loves us enough to send his only Son to die for us; loves us enough to listen to us.  Pray; pray for all people.  Come before God with your requests, your hopes, your dreams even your fears.  God has promised to listen and to hear you and to answer you according to his will.  In all things, pray, praise and give thanks!!
Dear Father, we give you thanks that you have heard the prayers of your people and brought healing.  We again stand in awe of your grace.  Forgive us when we fail to trust your word and utilize the gift of prayer.  Help us Gracious Father, to rely entirely on you and to come to you in prayer with all our needs.  In Jesus’ precious name we pray, amen.
God’s Peace,
Pastor Bret
